Volunteer Appreciation and Family Fun Fest!

Join Greater Columbus Right to Life for our Volunteer Appreciation and Family fun fest. The whole family is invited to join the GCRTL Board and Staff to say "thank you" to our volunteers, friends, and family.

Join us at 12:30 for a picnic. We'll supply the main dishes and sides and all the paper and plastic. You are welcome to bring a dessert (label any common allergens) to share, if you would like. Lunch starts with a blessing at 12:30. We will recognize our 2016 Defender of Life at about 1:30 or 2:00. Family friendly games and fellowship to follow. We've reserved the park all day, so stay as long as you'd like!

If you'd like to nominate someone for the Defender of Life award, do so today! Nominations are due September 16th.

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There are a number of parking places on our park site. Just follow the directions to reach the Sycamore Camp Site. We have a shelter in case of rain.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

There is no alcohol permitted in the Blendon Woods Metro Park and no pets (except service animals) are permitted inside the shelter.

If you'd like to bring your favorite dessert to share, please do! We are also organizing a few yard games if you have any ideas.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Nope. In fact, registration is not mandatory. That said, providing a RSVP with the number of family members that you plan to bring will help us out a bunch!

I have special dietary needs. What are the options?

We will have a basic picnic fare with some vegetarian options. If you have specific special foods needs, feel free to bring a picnic basket and join in.
